In a nutshell, my passion for writing, producing effective content and telling an exceptional story is what keeps me going.
Since high school, I have written and edited thousands of words for print and online outlets, mostly as a journalist.
Among the skills and specialties I offer are:
• exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, fact-checking and communication skills;
• a strong technical profile;
• deadline-driven and detail-oriented;
• effective and knowledgeable use of Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress content management systems.
Accuracy and ethics are two keystones of my career, and I have learned that no matter what you write, you must remember your audience. My journalism background also gave me the skill to explain technical subjects in uncomplicated language.
As technology changed, I added more skills. Now, I write and edit, but I also blog, tweet and effectively use social media. I also added SEO and web design knowledge.
I have no problems handling multiple projects as a writer, editor or content producer, on- or off-site.
I am also one of those people who gets annoyed when they see a mistake in a sentence or a misspelled word. I always want my writing and editing to get an emotional reaction — that a-ha moment — to wake someone up to a new way of thinking or acting. To make a difference and add something to someone’s life.
